Memory comes in small moments: film maker Nichola Bruce unveils a nuanced and intimate family portrait centering on the indomitable spirit of her mother, the visionary artist Jacqueline Stanley. Through a collage of small profound moments, the film captures the essence of a determined woman's extraordinary life, weaving together threads of artistry, resilience, and the indelible imprints through time of a shared family history. Rye Art Gallery staged a major retrospective of Jackie's work in 2023.
The Film will be shown in our studio and includes an informal discussion with the director, running from 5.30pm screening at 6pm finishing 8pm
